The last concert of this year was a performance in the Hifi Club in Pilsen on the Republic Square. In order to support the Christmas atmosphere, at the last rehearsal we practiced a mix of Christmas carols. We played the concert in the great atmosphere of the crowded club which was recently reconstructed. After some technical problems with sound that were successfully solved we, together with the audience, enjoyed the older as well as new songs of our repertoire and so we closed another season of the band existence (see photos and video) 1.11.2007 The Anniversary Concert - 13 Years of the Band Existence
We celebrated the 13th anniversary of formation of Slepá kolej in the Pilsen club Alfa on American street where we played a two-hour concert which represented the works of the band for its entire life. During the night we took new photos and also a new video. 27.10.2007 Sokolovský dostavník
Sokolovský dostavník is a nostalgic matter for us because we participated in it for the first time as early as in 1995. After an afternoon rehearsal we loaded cars and set out towards Karlovy Vary. We refreshed this route via Bečov nad Teplou, which we used to take quite often in the early years of Slepá kolej, and at around six o´clock we parked in front of the cinema Alfa in Sokolov. The event was not held in the big motion-picture theatre any more as it used to be years ago, but it was moved to the cinema café. Thanks to some changes in the program we opened Dostavník as the first band - see more at photos. We took the organizers as well as the visotrs by surprise a little bit because, after all, they expected a lighter genre. On Saturday of September 22, 2007 in Plzeň-Doubravka U sv. Jiří there was held the 2nd year of the fireworks competition participated by three best companies from the Czech Republic. During the whole day there was a rich accompanying program. The nice weather, many fairground amusements and a musical scene attracted thousands of visitors. We had problems to get to the stage through them. This time the catering was really great. Since we appeared at the very end of the music block, we had time enough to walk around and feel the atmosphere. At 9 p.m. we started to perform and thanks to a great support of the audience we really enjoyed it. The competitive fireworks were the highlights of the event. 18.8.2007 Ostrov u Příchovic
On the island in Příchovice we performed for the first time and we were nicely surprised by its environment. It is perfect for festivals. This time there was the festival called "Country on Island". The festival was participated, besides us, by several other bands, among others by the duet Odyssea Acoustic. The weather was nice again, which is not usual for our performances. During our performance there was a funny situation with Honza´s son Ondrouš. He climbed up onto the stage, came to his Daddy and "danced". Refreshment was quite poor again, especially because of chaotic service. 21.7.2007 Svojšín
On Saturday of July 21, 2007 the 9nd year of the traditional navigation of unusual crafts on the river Mže called "Neckyjáda" took place. The craft crews set out on a 1.5 km journey from the former camp Tosta to the meadow by the weir in Svojšín where a musical scene and refreshments were. We performed in the afternoon and the band MHS played after us. Surprisingly the weather was great, so we enjoyed the concert. We played the song "Někteří už nevstanou" for the first time. Also the crews enjoyed the afternoon. At the finish they got a shower from the local firefighters.
